Elevator Pitch No. 3

2. The feedback was helpful once again. I didn't think there was any unreasonable advice. The entire group is really helpful when offering their opinion on the elevator pitch.

3. This time for my pitch I took feedback into consideration. I tried to record where there wasn't a window directly behind because there were lighting issues. The difficult part is that there is a window everywhere in the house, but I tried my best. With that said, I tried to make the pitch not sound like a speech, which was difficult when looking at a screen. I did feel more comfortable with the camera though because I have done this pitch a few times now. Thank you for the feedback, and look forward to more of it.

  1. Dear Christian great job taking the feedback into consideration. You looked confident and used good diction. When you look at your first elevator pitch an then look at this one it is pretty clear there has been an improvement. I think overall this was a convincing pitch. Maybe some investors will see the video and your idea will catch on!

  2. Hey Christian! Great job! This pitch is like a night and day difference from the last! Its pretty crazy how a couple of simple things can make a pitch sound so much better.
This time around, I could see you clearly since there were no windows behind you. I could also follow your pitch much more easily. Your speaking did not seem labored and you spoke clearly and with much more confidence than before. All in all major improvement, and great job!
If I had to provide some direction as to what to work on for the next one, I would say that as a viewer, I felt myself wanting to know more about how your service would help reduce the waste problem. Your pitch is chock full of facts, and it is clear you have done your research, however try to cut down on the facts a little bit to make room for a little more information about your service. Remember. Facts are great and they show people you are well informed, however the pitch is about your service, not about how recycling is good for the environment.
Lastly, one small tid bit that even I have been guilty of this semester is to try and raise the elevation of the camera so that you are not looking down on the camera. the reason has a lot to do with your eyes. Having a more level view can make you seem more confident than if you have to talk down to the camera. This is the reason many people who enjoy to take photographs (especially selfies) often place the camera straight ahead or at a slightly raised angle.

Anyway, I don't want you to think you have not done a good job, as I have said, You have improved immensely even since last week. I just want to provide you with some direction to help you give an even better pitch in the future. Great job so far!

  3. Hey what’s up Christian! I think you did a great job on improving the things you talked about in this post. You sound very passionate, it seems that you really have a heart for recycling. I think all the statistics that you talk about your post really show your listeners the magnitude of this issue. I think you did great with projecting your voice, and sounding a bit more enthusiastic about this opportunity.
