Halfway Reflection

1. Tenaciousness is a competency. What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course?

I've had to develop my planning skills and it's essential to the course because you're going to need to schedule around other courses. Being creative is another behavior that will help  because you'll be required to come up different opportunities that you think will help people. This course has also developed my communication skills. You will be required to create interviews for your assignments These are example of behaviors that I think are essential for this course.

 2. Tenaciousness is also about attitude. Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months? What experience or experiences most contributed to this?

There was a couple moments that I wanted to "give up", but I'm a determined person. I may not be perfect, but there is one thing that I do do in in life and that's not giving up. I don't think I've developed a  tenacious attitude during the two months of the course because I've always been a determined person. Multiple assignments have contributed to this.

3.Three tips. What are three tips you would offer next semester's student about (1) fostering the skills that support tenacity and (2) developing the 'tenacious mindset' ?

My three tips would be plan ahead, stay motivated, and stay on schedule. Those three things are vital for success in the course and helps keep the tenacious mindset and supports tenacity.

In order to do well in each class you have to stay organised and follow a strict schedulele. Great advice!

  2. Hey Christian,
I think you have some great tips to the class, I believe in this course you have to stay motivated and work on planning ahead/scheduling. It is essential to stay focused and being unique and creative. This course is a great way for us to come up with our own opportunities and ideas. Great post and good luck on the rest to come.

  3. Good tips Christian! Over time, I have heard many complain about online course because they are not used to planning their own schedules, or having to do their work at their own pace. Creating motivation and staying motivated is essential to succeeding in an online course.
